"Look at all this accomplishment. Observe this act of ethnic cleansing," a fighter exclaims.

The combatants are celebrating a massacre that relief organizations believe claimed the lives of over two thousand individuals in the Sudan's metropolis of al-Fashir in recent weeks.

After maintaining the community under encirclement for approximately two years, from the summer the paramilitary force proceeded to reinforce its dominance and restrict the surviving civilian population.
