The comeback of Super Forms in Pokémon Legends: Z-A has sparked immense excitement within the community. From the one-by-one unveiling of newcomers before the title's release, to trainers developing strong opinions on the full roster of Mega Evolutions, there's plenty for fans to anticipate.

With many of the Mega Evolutions showcasing unique appearances that highlight their traits, one thought naturally: What's the best way to link this with zodiac signs? The following is inspired by a mix of vibes, common zodiac traits, and personal experience.

Aries – Mega Camerupt

To be truthful, Houndour's evolution was nearly chosen for this fire sign, as both are the Mega Pokémon and astrological sign that evoke the greatest apprehension. But, a Super Houndoom appears as always furious, which doesn't match the Ram's energy, renowned for being fun, light-hearted, and impulsive. This makes the Ram far more similar to Super Camerupt, which only erupts when provoked. Gemini – Mega Medicham

Look at this total queen. You cannot tell me this creature is not the soul of any gathering, offering an constant stream of gossip to anyone who wants to listen. Just like an captivating, gregarious Twins, it's very easy to imagine Super Medicham captivating an entire open area with their tales. This Pokémon's Pokédex entry also states its ability to predict an opponent's next moves, which seems quite like a people-smart Twins.

The Crab – Super Manectric

The Crab is widely regarded as the most sensitive sign of the astrological wheel, a intense symbol famous for frequently getting absorbed in their emotions. Libra – Mega Audino

Look at this gentle, sensitive being, who uses the feelers on its ears to detect how others are feeling by their pulse. Always compassionate – occasionally to a detriment – and trying to maintain the peace, there are many Scales who would likely benefit from Mega Audino’s abilities. However, to be frank, it would probably just cause them to stress even more about everyone else.

The Scorpion – Super Banette

Banette is a Pokémon with a surprisingly tragic backstory: Discarded as a toy, it gained sentient through pure resentment and vowed retribution on its previous caretaker. According to the Pokédex, Super Evolution, “enhances its spitefulness.” That seems exactly like many discussions I’ve had with my intense Scorpio friends. A Scorpion adores cosmic justice and comeuppance, making them the ideal pair with Super Banette.

The Archer – Super Hawlucha

Both Mega Hawlucha and Sagittarians are always staging a show. Being a Archer myself, the amount of times I’ve called myself some variation of a “playful little entertainer” is countless. The most flamboyant and most obnoxious Super Form, its Pokédex entry even notes how it “flexes to display its power.” I would do the exact same thing if I had a Super Form, making Mega Hawlucha the most fitting Archer match I can imagine.

The Goat – Mega Absol

Were you aware that a Super Absol has the power to predict calamities ahead of time? That exudes the exact same energy as a Capricorn, who tends to always believe they’re right. Interestingly, much like a prophetic Mega Absol, they frequently are.
